What is The Day Passport rewards program?

The Day Passport is a web-based rewards program for members of The Day that provides exclusive access to discounts, giveaways, and member events at local venues and attractions. 

As a member of The Day you enjoy all of the program benefits. Members of The Day may access The Day Passport rewards program by visiting rewards.theday.com. If you are a member of The Day and are logged in to theday.com, you should not be prompted to login on The Day Passport rewards site. If however you are prompted to login, enter the same credentials as used on theday.com.

What benefits does The Day Passport offer?

  • Exclusive savings and discounts to area businesses in dining, entertainment, family attractions and more.
  • Exciting free giveaways such as venue tickets, gift cards, and vacation packages.
  • Members-only access to events and attractions throughout the year.

Who is eligible?

All members of The Day are eligible to access the benefits of The Day Passport rewards program.  Current subscribers must register and establish a user profile by selecting “Login / Register” on the top left corner of theday.com. If you are already registered at theday.com, simply login as you normally would.  You will be able to link your subscription to your account once you have logged in.

To become a Member, choose from three print and online membership options or our digital-only membership option at.  All four options offer complete access to theday.com, The Day Passport Rewards program, and all other member benefits. 

Become a member of The Day today by joining online or call our customer service center at 866-846-9099, Mon-Fri, 7a.m.-4p.m. or Sat-Sun, 7a.m.-12p.m.

How often are rewards, giveaways and member events added to The Day Passport?

In addition to ongoing discounts, The Day Passport will be updated weekly with new rewards, giveaways and member only events. Be sure to visit frequently for the hottest new events and local rewards.

Look for the weekly emails promoting The Day Passport rewards, as well as advertisements in The Day featuring our best and newest local offers!

What are “explore” rewards?

"Explore" rewards will consist of ongoing discounts provided by our local partners.  These benefits will be available to members of The Day by redeeming the offer through the rewards program.  Examples of “Explore” rewards include:

  • Discounts off restaurants,
  • Buy one get one free admission tickets,
  • 15% off shows and venues,
  • Reduced admission and more!

Note: Many of The Day Passport offers and promotions include more details and universal rules.  Be sure to read the details of each offer which may include redemption restrictions, expiration date or "while supplies last" clause. 

What are “dream” giveaways?

"Dream" giveaways will consist of free giveaways provided by our local partners.    These benefits will be available to members of The Day by entering in to win the giveaway through the rewards program.  Winners will be randomly drawn based on the number of giveaways provided by our local partners.  Examples of “Dream” giveaways include:

  • Vacation packages,
  • Tickets to local shows and venues,
  • Free admission to area attractions,
  • Gift cards and more!

Note: No purchase is required to enter any of the drawings or giveaways offered through The Day Passport rewards program.  

Non-members of The Day can enter sweepstake drawings by visiting The Day’s main offices, Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm, or by mailing a letter containing their name, address, and phone number (and e-mail address if have one) to:

What are “discover” events?

"Discover" events will consist of exclusive members only events throughout the year and hosted at local venues and attractions.  These benefits will be available to members of The Day by RSVP’ing to the members-only event through the rewards program. 

The Day Passport Kick off event will be on Sunday, October 2 at Mystic Aquarium in partnership with Ocean Blue Catering.  Members of The Day will enjoy

  • Buy one adult admission, receive on child admission FREE and enjoy lunch with signature tastings from Ocean Blue Catering
    • Kids- make your own ice cream sundae

May I participate in the program on more than one computer?

Yes.  Members of The Day may access the program on any computer, tablet or mobile device by visiting rewards.theday.com.  You will be prompted to login for access to redeem rewards, enter giveaways and RSVP for member events.

If I share my computer with someone else, can I still participate in the program?

Yes.  As a logged in member of The Day, you will have access to all of the benefits of The Day Passport.  

How can I get my business featured in The Day Passport?

The first line of your Sweepstakes Rules page says "No purchase necessary"; yet when I tried to enter into the “Dream” giveaways, I was told that a membership to The Day is required.

No purchase is required to enter any of the drawings or giveaways offered through The Day Passport rewards program.

Is there a limit to the amount of "explore" reward vouchers I can redeem?

Yes. If you’re a member of The Day, you may take advantage of each offer once. 

You may view the vouchers you have “redeemed” by clicking on “My Passport” and selecting the “Rewards” tab.  You must be logged in to theday.com to view your activity within “My Passport”.

How will I know if I won a "Dream" giveaway?

Winners are notified by email. 

The email message will indicate what giveaway you have won.  You may also view your activity by visiting “My Passport” and selecting the “Giveaways” tab. 

This will display a list of giveaways that you have entered to win.  You will also find the status of each giveaway and when winners will be announced.  You must be logged in to theday.com to view your activity within “My Passport”.  

Note:  The email will come from The Day Passport.  Be sure to add passport@theday.com to your allowed list so that you will always receive email sent from this address.

How do I know if my submission for a "Dream" giveaway was received?

Members of The Day may view your activity by visiting “My Passport” and selecting the “Giveaways” tab.  This will display a list of giveaways that you have entered to win.  You will also find the status of each giveaway and when winners will be announced.  You must be logged in to theday.com to view your activity within “My Passport”.  

I have clicked on “RSVP”. Where do I find my invitation ticket for this "Discover" event?

Members of The Day may view your “RSVP” activity by visiting “My Passport” and selecting the “Events” tab.  This will display a list of events for which you have reserved a place for your attendance.  You will also be able to print the ticket at your convenience. You must be logged in to theday.com to view your activity within “My Passport”.  

I forgot my day.com login information.

No problem.  Simply visit theday.com and select “Login” on the top left corner.  Select “forgot your password” from the login screen.  You will be asked to provide your email address, and you will receive an email with instructions for resetting your account.   If you do not remember your email address, you may contact Member Services at memberservices@theday.com.
